My name is Rob van Ommering. I work for Philips Research in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Some of you may know me through Koala, the software component model that I created to build a product line of software for televisions (see e.g. SPLC's Hall Of Fame). More on that you can read in my - still quite recent - PhD thesis. I also co-invented Relation Partition Algebra back in 1993, with a.o. Loe Feijs, Reinder Bril and Rene Krikhaar, as a generic tool to perform certain kinds of reverse architecting. See also Johan Muskens paper on Thursday morning. If you have any questions or remarks, or want to share interesting ideas with me, just get hold of me while walking through the corridors...
Oh, and I have some strange hobbies (you need to have Google Earth installed to appreciate this).
